The Map of Tiny Perfect Things is the coming-of-age story of two teenagers going down seemingly separate paths, Mark as an easy-going, video-game playing, sister-teasing, sugar-for-breakfast teen, and Margaret as an introspective, strong-willed young woman hiding emotional hardship. They appear to have nothing in common until they find themselves stuck in the same time loop, inexplicably living the same day over and over again. What begins as shared reckless adventures in a life without consequence – head-shaving and car-crashing only to wake up unscathed – evolves into a search for meaning and the hope of reaching tomorrow. With an uncertain future they are forced to exist only in the present moment, discovering depth in the small things and answers in the everyday.
