FilmNation To Sell International Rights for Gloria Steinem Bipoix
October 23, 2018It’s official — FilmNation will handle international sales for The Glorias: A Life on the Road, starring Academy Award-winner Julianne Moore (Still Alice) and in negotiations with Academy Award-winner Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl, Ex Machina).
The film, written by playwright Sarah Ruhl and acclaimed Broadway director Julie Taymor (The Lion King), chronicles the paradigm-shifting activism of famed feminist, journalist and author Gloria Steinem (to be played by Moore). Steinem’s memoir “My Life On The Road” acts as the film’s source material.
Page Fifty-Four Pictures’ Alex Saks will produce alongside Taymor and Lynn Hendee.
