2024 SXSW Film & TV Festival Lineup Features Pamela Adlon and Ilana Glazer's "Babes"

The first round of film and television programming for the South by Southwest Festival and Conference includes world premieres of action flick "The Fall Guy," with Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, and comedy "Babes," with Ilana Glazer and Michelle Buteau. The festival will also host the premiere of "3 Body Problem" the new sci-fi series from "Game of Thrones" creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss and Emmy Award nominee Alexander Woo.

"Babes,'" written by Ilana Glazer and her "Broad City" collaborator Josh Rabinowitz teamed up to write and produce this comedy directed by Emmy winner Pamela Adlon. After becoming pregnant from a one-night stand, Eden (Glazer) leans on her married best friend and mother of two, Dawn (Michelle Buteau), to guide her through gestation and beyond.

Other world premieres coming to SXSW 2024 include the third season of the HBO series "Hacks," the mini-series "Black Twitter," the documentary "Cheech and Chong's Last Movie" and the final season of "Star Trek: Discovery."

In addition to a robust film and television program, SXSW will host iHeartMedia's iHeartPodcast Awards.
