FilmNation Entertainment and SK Global Announce International Sales Partnership

FilmNation Entertainment and SK Global have entered into a new partnership that will see the two companies collaborate on SK Global’s upcoming slate of feature films.

Under the agreement, FilmNation will support the development and packaging of SK Global’s feature projects and handle international sales for select titles.

The alliance brings together two leading independent studios known for championing bold, globally resonant storytelling. SK Global is the financier and producer behind recent hits including Anyone But You, while FilmNation recently released the Academy Award® Best Picture winner Anora and nominee Conclave.

One of the first projects to launch under the new partnership is Reykjavik, a historical thriller set against the backdrop of the 1986 Reykjavík Summit between U.S. President Ronald Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev. The film stars Jeff Daniels, Jared Harris, and J.K. Simmons.

The deal was negotiated by Kim and Tang on behalf of their respective companies.
